Hello World

This is my first blog here. I am here to explain why our oral health matters so much. Most of the people no matter of age neglects oral health. Dentistry is not just about teeth, it involves a whole lot of other structures too like your gums, cheek tissues, tongue etc. A healthy mouth is a doorway to a healthy body and mind. Bad mouth affects your gut health and kidneys . Your mental health can too deteriorate because of bad oral hygiene.

A healthy mouth boost up your confidence and helps you feel positive. Just like other major diseases prevention ,early detection and treatment of oral diseases is important to stop any negative effects on the rest of your body. Tooth decay is the most common health condition in the world, caused by unhealthy diets mostly rich in sugar as well as exposure to other risk factors.

The most ironic part is that people don’t even notice that they have tooth decay or other oral problems. If mild symptoms arises like sensitivity or pain they themselves go to nearby pharmacies to buy toothpaste or pain killers without consulting doctors and by doing so the symptoms subsides but it won’t solve your problem. Because of this neglect the disease gets worse and by the time you visit a doctor your teeth will not be able to survive. Because teeth is the only tissue in the body that doesn’t heal themselves.

Thats why practicing a good oral hygiene and regular visit to dental clinics is important. So I am here to raise awareness and encourage people to take charge of your oral health.
